ABOUT PROHIBITED

In 2021, we, Philip and Patrick, university friends and streetwear fans, were fed up with the monotonous look and narrative of the streetwear scene. We were fed up with gangster heroization, fake flex and hype from limited-edition drops, so we decided to start our own streetwear brand that does things differently.

Against the prevailing rules of the scene and forbidden to think like that at all. Prohibited.

  • THE BEGINNING

    From our home in Berlin-Mitte, we focus on developing our own aesthetic: “The Modern-Yuppie.”

    Since the beginning, our aim has been to create high-quality fashion that captures the spirit of the times. Inspired by the metropolises of this world, we combine real streetwear with a sporty old-money classiness.

    We call it classy cool and we firmly believe in doing everything ourselves. We run our own warehouse, create our own campaigns and work without investors.

  • SO FAR

    We only presented our first own collection in fall 2023. But a lot has happened since then.

    Today, we are proud to employ 20 young and passionate people and to be represented in over 150 stores as well as at Zalando, AboutYou and ASOS.

    Thanks to our high level of authenticity, many celebrities, from local artists to international stars, also love our styles.

    However, we are only at the beginning of our mission to equip young urbanites with high-quality, versatile styles and make classic streetwear cool.
